  • Co-founded with Steve Britton (CEO) and Calum Formby. Day job; separate company from Tyneside Software.
  • Invoice and document data capture — AP/AR automation, AI and rules-based extraction.
  • Customers typically 50,000+ invoices a year. ~£600k ARR.

Head of Engineering

Advanced (OneAdvanced) — CloudTrade business

October 2021 – February 2025

  • Ran engineering after Advanced bought CloudTrade.
  • Integration onto Advanced’s processes and Azure stack. Team grew from about 12 developers to about 30.

2018 – October 2021

  • Engineering lead through the 2018 Calculus Capital investment and the sale to Advanced on 14 October 2021.
  • E-invoicing and document interpretation into ERP / accounts payable systems.

  • Joined as the fifth person in the company; one of two in engineering.
  • Built the capture platform: PDFs and other human-readable documents into structured data.
