Product vision

Live wellbeing skills sessions with accountability — a practical toolkit for daily life.

What it is

An online platform where practitioners offer live individual and (especially) group sessions that help people learn and practise skills to improve mental wellbeing and deal with stress.

Classes and workshops help people build a practical toolkit for wellbeing and integrate practices into daily life.

Market gap

A true one-stop shop for learning and practising wellbeing skills with live accountability, plus a library of recordings.

Especially for people who struggle to access support because of:

  • Cost
  • Busy lives
  • NHS waiting lists
  • Being housebound
  • Lack of childcare
  • Other access barriers

Possible session types

Anything deliverable by video, for example:

  • Therapy skills (not a substitute for clinical care)
  • Yoga
  • Mindfulness
  • Music lessons
  • Stress-management workshops

Pricing model

Membership — monthly and annual.

Tiers for:

  • Individuals
  • Businesses / organisations
  • Potentially NHS / commissioned services

Long-term structure

Considering registration as a CIC (Community Interest Company) to access National Lottery and other social-impact funding.

Future public surface

https://lauren.tyneside.software — not live, and not the outsource workbench.

Until we choose to launch:

  • Public plans live on this docs hub (tyneside.software/lauren/).
  • Code lives in the private GitHub repo.
  • Live working copy for the outsource team will be a private deployed sandbox, disconnected from tyneside.software, so practice and product work are not on the public site.

Delivery (current)

An Indian software outsourcing firm is engaged for two days of work a week. They have completed a two-hour practice project and are waiting. Next: Michael reviews that work, then they get the private sandbox and real tickets.
